A water chiller is a type of water-cooling equipment capable of providing constant temperature, constant flow, and constant pressure cooling. The operating principle of a chiller involves injecting a specific volume of water into the machine's internal reservoir. This water is then cooled by the chiller's refrigeration system. Subsequently, an internal pump circulates the chilled water into the equipment requiring cooling. The chilled water absorbs and carries away the heat generated by the equipment; the resulting heated water then flows back into the reservoir to undergo the cooling process once again. This continuous cycle of heat exchange effectively achieves the objective of cooling the equipment.

 

1. Air-cooled chillers do not require the installation of an external cooling tower, making them suitable for environments where air quality is poor or impurities are prevalent. (Cooling towers are prone to accumulating impurities and dust, which can clog the cooling water circulation loop and lead to a reduction in cooling capacity.)
